The ICT consultant is a hybrid profile that requires solid economic and commercial experience, as well as knowledge related to information and communication technologies (ICT). He/she uses his/her experience in both sectors to help clients develop technological solutions that help them achieve their business objectives. Their functions consist of analysing the client's situation, generating a business plan and developing ICT solutions, both for the company itself and for external clients. Their profile can be more or less technological depending on the field in which they work.
