We live in the age of electronics and interconnected devices.
This technology makes our lives easier all the time, but it currently comes at a high environmental cost, as much of the material from which electronic devices are made is not recoverable, let alone biodegradable. To change this reality, a team from the Institute of Materials Science of Madrid (ICMM-CSIC) is working on the development of a new material for electronics, which has the advantage of being biodegradable.
